Gisborne, New Zealand/San Diego Inbound Journey

The planning committee for the Gisborne, New Zealand incoming journey was held on March 21 at the home of Carol Tatum. A little background on the incoming ambassadors was given, a tentative itinerary was developed for the journey, job descriptions were provided for the various volunteer coordinators, and procedures for our visit to the Midway Museum were established so ambassadors, home hosts and participating members will know where to meet and how to proceed when they arrive at the pier of the Midway.
The committee is requesting more help in the following areas: Home Hosts, Day Hosts and especially Friendship Dinner Hosts. We will also need volunteers for setting up and cleaning up after the Welcome Lunch and the Farewell Dinner. Sign-up sheets will be available at the April 21st general meeting or you can call if you will not be attending the April meeting:

ARE YOU INTERESTED? If you have an interest in the Anza Borrego Desert area and would be willing to join the desert trip as an assistant with our current narrator Mike Brown during the upcoming trip in August, please contact Carol Tatum. Our club needs volunteers in many capacities with our journeys and a back up for the Desert Narrator position would be a welcome addition to the Inbound Journey planning committee.
