Re: Golden Age/ Senior Passport

Description:
The Golden Age Passport is a lifetime entrance pass that allows persons, age 62 and older, (and any
accompanying passengers in their vehicle) free entry to national parks/monuments. It also provides
a 50% discount on federal use fees charged for facilities/services such as camping, swimming,
parking, and tours. This lifetime pass is available for a one-time fee of $10 and may be obtained
at the entrance of most federally operated recreation areas (such as Cabrillo National Monument,
Point Loma), which charge an entrance fee. The price is going to rise to $60 in the near future.

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be age 62 or older.
Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
Must obtain passport in person and show proof of age with picture ID.

If you want to purchase this Senior Pass, arrive at the entrance gate to Cabrillo National Monument
during the Austin Exchange, ask specifically for the Golden  Age/Senior Passport and
have your $10 and proof of age and picture ID available.
